With over 18 years of experience in business strategy, I serve as Executive Vice President at United Wholesale Mortgage (NYSE: UWMC), the nation’s largest mortgage lender. In my role, I oversee critical business and legal functions, including procurement, compliance, quality control, licensing, legal, and risk management, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment with the company’s goals.I am also President of three key UWM affiliates: • UWM Ventures, UWM’s strategic investment division, • United Closing and Escrow Group, UWM’s closing and escrow division, and • Mortgage Tech Assist, which provides technology support to our mortgage broker clients. In addition, I serve as Secretary of the Board, supporting the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, and the Compensation Committee to ensure sound governance and strategic oversight.I lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for driving operational excellence, mitigating risk, and delivering innovative solutions that enhance UWM’s ability to serve its clients and borrowers. A key highlight includes helping spearhead UWM’s merger with Gores Holdings IV, which positioned UWM as a publicly traded company in 2021.Prior to joining UWM, I served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Rock Ventures, where I supported the strategic and legal needs of its diverse portfolio companies, including JACK Entertainment, Bedrock, Rocket Fiber, Rocket Mortgage, Fat Head, Detroit Venture Partners, Rock Bridge Growth Equity and StockX.My passion lies in leveraging business strategy, operational efficiency, and innovation to advance UWM’s mission of delivering unmatched service, technology, and speed to its broker partners.
