At Gallagher I took part in a professional environment following extensive regulatory guidelines in the management of some of the biggest insurance clients with premiums exceeding annually. Building relationships with both external and internal stakeholders to foster a deeper understanding of the needs of every party, and ensuring a frictionless expirience for the policyholder.• I have worked as a Account Broker for 8 months which enabled me to make contact with clients and underwriters, building and maintaining relationships in placing cover, as well as cultivating the technical skills in analyzing policies to provide the best outcomes for our clients. I have always engaged in Renewal meetings, PRISMs, Pre-Renewal meetings and promoting my professionalism to clients and Insurers.• I worked in the Claims team which provided a deeper insight into how policies react to losses, and the type of claims that are frequent, create significant issues, and areas where policies don\'t cover which can lead to potential issues with clients. In this time I went on client visits, surveys, claims meetings, meeting Loss Adjustors, Claims Relationship Managers and Lawyers, which gave me exceptional knowledge and experience to have holistic view of the claims process. Finally I have had the ability to become a Project Manager and have been able to utilize my problem solving skills and grow my confidence.• I have exposed myself to all education available, including achieving my Cert/Dip CII,\'Futures\' education with courses such as Stakeholder Management, and exposure to Senior Leaders such as Michael Rea (CEO of Retail), Tom Downey (CEO of PEN) and Pat Gallagher (Chairman and CEO).• I have constantly kept up to date and complied with relevant regulation such as Treating Customers Fairly and the Consumer Duty, and have had the ability to take a leading role in audits. This has embedded the importance of compliance on all steakholders.
