At Syngenta\'s Crop Protection R&D Digital Team, I developed data products using Data Mesh and Lakehouse architectures on Databricks across multiple business domains. Collaborating with R&D experts and IT, I bridged technical and research teams to align requirements. I designed and implemented ETL/ELT pipelines with Python, SQL, and Apache Spark for prototype and production environments, enhancing data accessibility and supporting business decisions. Leading over 20 onboarding sessions, I upskilled more than 100 users in data and engineering skills, provided technical guidance, and created educational resources like documentation and tutorials. I maintained data engineering standards, promoted the use of Git for version control, and contributed to a modern R&D data platform supplying self-service capabilities and FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data products, delivering robust solutions that empower analytics and advance interdisciplinary R&D initiatives.
