I was tasked with leading the modernization and enhancement of over 100 legacy applications. This involved not only upgrading the tech stack but also integrating advanced AI/ML models to improve the decision-making processes within the applications. By leveraging FastAPI and PySpark, I significantly boosted data processing capabilities, allowing for the handling of large-scale datasets without bottlenecks.I played a pivotal role in designing and deploying scalable REST and GraphQL APIs, which streamlined communication between systems and applications, improving performance and reducing load times. Leading the cloud deployment with Kubernetes and Docker allowed the team to achieve seamless scaling, drastically reducing latency and ensuring system reliability during peak usage.ServiceNow & Third-Party Financial Integrations: Transformed HR processes by leveraging ServiceNow to automate critical tasks like onboarding andemployee requests, significantly enhancing the employee experience and HR team productivity. I designedand built robust API configurations for these automations. Streamlined source-to-pay and workforce management workflows through complex API integrations ofServiceNow with Fieldglass, Ariba, and SAP, creating seamless processes from requisition to payment. Built and secured API layers for Ariba and SAP (specifically integrating with SAP FI-GL, FI-AP, and COmodules), enabling critical data exchange for financial applications and streamlining enterprise resourceplanning. I applied stringent security practices to authenticate all API endpoints. Utilized the AWS Service Catalog Connector for ServiceNow to efficiently set up and provision AWS tools,further enhancing IT service delivery.
