About Adam Swiss
I am a highly experienced Finance Director who has operated at group level in a multinational, US$24bn revenue organisation, as well as in local businesses of c.US$4bn in South America and South Africa.Throughout my senior career, I have developed and delivered successful business strategy, built capable, effective teams and achieved exceptional financial results. I’ve been hands-on throughout tough commercial and other negotiations, maintained stringent standards within the PLC environment and have been involved in delivering one of the largest mergers in corporate history, the combination of AB InBev with SABMiller which completed in mid October 2016. I progressed from Finance management roles in the domestic South African market of SABMiller, moving to a Group function in London before heading up Finance in Colombia, the Group’s largest profit contributor. These experiences brought huge variety to my experience - ranging from scale of financial and operational considerations through to cultural and political aspects of doing business around the globe. I have worked on a shared service model project in Latin America, delivered creative solutions to major market downturns and met or exceeded extremely demanding cost objectives throughout. I take a collaborative approach with the business to drive efficiency and deliver bottom line performance. I’m tenacious and straight-talking, but firmly believe that my role is ultimately to be supportive, working as a partner to the CEO and Executive Team.
