Hired to work on the maintenance team’s part in constructing the facility. Trained on the Ocado Smart Platform in order to SAT and maintain 248 500-series bots, the grid, approximately 2 mods worth of stations and any auxiliary equipment needed to start the building with maximum operational efficiency-Running extensive root cause analysis using PuTTY and commands on 500-series bots to find and fully document all issues with the bots in order for the parts to be ordered-Worked hand and hand with head engineers at Ocado from US and UK to the full extent of their knowledge with grid, bots, and stations in order to learn the equipment on a deeper level-Actively developing workflow to better detect issues with sub assets such as reading wiring diagrams to find exact issues with components in order to save money on costly part swapping- Invited onto the commissioning team for two secondments (Charlotte and Phoenix) where I learned fundamental controls knowledge on verifying and commissioning the stations, the grid, and installing any equipment retrofits needed to bring equipment up to full operating status. Tasks include troubleshooting wiring issues from install via reading the schematic, using Station Builder and TIA to build, and deploy the correct code to stations for deployment process,troubleshooting PLCs via the built-in or external HMIs and ensuring stations were installed correctly and fully operational- Invited onto Project X during the Detroit project where I worked directly with head engineers at Ocado to analyze metrics on stations, track all physical issues on stations and actively made corrective measures to increase station productivity and secure reliability of all station equipment such as moved stations to correctly align with the grid, leveled beds across the station, repinned as necessary, tensioned belts, and any other duty needed to bring station back to company standards.
