   Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize property tax savings opportunities that contribute to shareholder value, while fulfilling tax payment and reporting obligations. • Oversee the corporate real estate tax minimization program, which includes (but is not limited to) activities such as: managing day-to-day operations of the real estate tax department; analyzing the company\'s properties; coordinating the appeals process and related activities; budgeting, acquisition, and development due diligence; and same store budget reforecasting. • Work very closely with employees from other departments (Investments, Development, Legal and Accounting). • Manage and direct all aspects of the property tax appeal process, from evaluating and comparing property values and determining the viability of appealing a case to developing a business case and recommending whether external or internal representation will lead to the better overall result. • Directly impact the bottom line of a publicly traded real estate investment trust that\'s focused on the acquisition, development, and management of high quality multi-family apartment properties in top U.S. growth markets.
