About Adam Stotz

I love working at the nexus of technology, business, and operations. I am a pragmatic technologist that has been serving since 2003 in growing leadership roles developing data science software that has made a difference for my clients.In 2011, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to take an entrepreneurial leap and help start TROVE Predictive Data Science, a company focused on “making data useful” for the utility industry. Over the 9 years that followed I wore many hats, as executives of early stage companies do, but mainly leading technology and product strategy, as well as operations. TROVE was able to grow a world class team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers that developed predictive analytical software solutions predominantly for investor owned electric utilities. My experience at TROVE culminated in February of 2020 when TROVE was acquired by E Source. Now, as CTO of E Source, with the TROVE team bootstrapping a newly formed Data Science Division, I am joined by an esteemed team of thought leaders with a proven track record of being a change agent in the utility sector for over 30 years. When trying to balance work with life, I enjoy staying active. As a native of Buffalo, you must find a reason to enjoy all the seasons! I do that with golf, hiking, biking, running, and snowboarding.
