ABOUT ADAM SLIMIN

Adam is a Sustainability and Environmental Specialist with over 25 years experience in multiple sectors. He is currently Director of Sustainability, Climate and Resilience for Stantec as well as driving Digital Solutions and Innovation across Stantec. He has also founded his own company which has been providing expert advice to clients and companies about the topics of Sustainability, Climate, Resilience and Digital. Currently he is working on Carbon Net Zero solutions, Natural Capital and pushing the sustainability agenda for many of the UKs water companies and other Utilities.Adam has also specialised in developing Innovative and Technology solutions in the sustainability space acting in numerous roles such as Scrum Mater and Digital Project Lead. Adams recent roles include leading many of the Innovation and technology solutions for the Environmental Services as well as historically leading in areas of Climate, Resilience, Resource Efficiency, Sustainability, Reporting and Compliance. His innovation role includes development of many of the current key challenges around;Carbon Net Zero Strategies and SolutionsSmart Cities /Liveable Cities/ Sustainable Cities / Resilient CitiesBig Data Solutions in the Environment and Sustainability SpaceInternet of Things.Prior to Stantec Adam worked at Wood/Amec Foster Wheeler (Now part of WSP), Infosys, Atkins, Mouchel, MWH and Southern Water working in the Sustainability and Environment Teams. Having led a number of teams Adam has been heavily involved in projects and business development in many parts of the world including the UK, Europe, US, Middle East, India and Africa. Adams clients have ranged from National Governments and Major Infrastructure projects all the way down to small scale single plot developments or bespoke pieces of work.
