Current Role:Business manager - 50% of the role:Oversee a number of project managers and assistant project managers for the delivery of engineering services. Responsible and accountable for a programme/area containing a number of projects, task orders and provisions of service.Technical / Capability Manager - 50% of the role:Responsible for the emerging talent cohorts within my business stream, including all engineering and project apprentices, concepts and developing engineers. This includes competency assessments, training, development and education, through to recruitment, performance and strategy.Previous role within this tenure:Project Manager for a research and development project to provide a strategic case to UKPLC for future waste management and disposal- forecasting and estimating (EAC, resource mapping, supply chain, procurement)- NEC3 and contract management (early warning, compensation events etc) CEMAR use and other document management systems and tools - internal and external audits (customer, accreditation)- payment applications, invoicing and financial management- project reporting, dashboards, risk registers and other various trackers - supply chain engagement, quotations, task orders and defining scope of works (including milestones, KPIs etc)- contracts and clauses, terms and conditions (both technical contracts and for staffing and resourcing / people)- multi discipline team management- business cases and cost models (creation of roles, for early careers development, training funding)- assessment of staff via performance, capability assessment, competence assessment
