ABOUT ADAM ROBERTSON
I have worked within Local Government for four years, in a variety of Human Resources and Finance roles. I currently work as an Employment Services Advisor, dealing with Direct Payment Clients to employ their own Personal Assistants. I help to recruit Personal Assistants for them, as well as advising Direct Payment Users of their responsibilities as an Employer, to ensure they are on the right side of Employment Law. Additionally, I have experience of working within Payroll and Finance. I have extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion and Sage 50 Payroll Software, and being part of a team which does 1,400 Service Users Payrolls each month. I have knowledge of how PAYE Tax, National Insurance and Pensions work within a Payroll, as well as Maternity and Redundancy Pay are calculated. Moreover, I have experience within the political sector and have managed to get publicity for campaigns such as Speeding or Special Educational Needs. I have knowledge of how political campaigns work, and how to run successful campaigns to get individuals elected as Councillors or MPs.
