ABOUT ADAM RIZZOTTO

Well-rounded in all areas of business studies, I have completed an MSc in Financial Management after finishing a BA in Management at Robert Gordon University\'s Aberdeen Business School. I have also obtained a Diploma in Business - General in addition to an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from the McKeil School of Business at Mohawk College. These programs have given me applied knowledge and technical skills that have been crucial in my life, aiding in both my higher studies and my employment. These credentials were completed in addition to having acquired credits in the fields of anthropology, sociology, political science, and English literature at McMaster University, an indicator of my inclination towards learning as well as my diverse array of interests. Much of my employment experience has been in positions of coaching and leadership, whether as a store manager, cash supervisor, crew trainer, or tutor. While technical/hard skills are important, I believe that soft skills such as effective communication and teamwork are essential for a business to thrive efficiently and to high standards. It is my charismatic and personable nature combined with my capabilities and dedication that has always elevated me into these types of roles. Outside of work, I have a wide range of hobbies and activities that I partake in. I try to get involved in volunteer efforts when possible, having amassed over 100 hours of volunteer work while studying at Mohawk College. I am curious by nature and am always exploring, being particularly partial to hiking through scenic trails and travelling to new places. I am active at the gym but also enjoy my down time with games and reading. Additionally, I am currently in the process of writing my first novel, one that I hope to one day get published but whose completion alone will be a personal accomplishment regardless of its uptake - a bucket list item to check off the scroll.
