I am the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Inbenta, a global AI company. I have the honor of leading a group of legal and compliance professionals across the globe and supporting a fast-growing technology business. I have a reputation for being a pragmatic legal and business executive that empowers the business to achieve its goals, even in the most complex and fast moving environments. I love to develop talent and I\'m constantly amazed at what great teams can accomplish. I was recruited to join Inbenta directly by our CEO who valued my deep privacy, cyber, AI and employment law experience. I enjoy working closely with the Board, our private equity investor and my c-suite colleagues to drive business growth. I have led global data privacy and cyber teams at DoorDash, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), Refinitiv, Thomson Reuters and Louis Vuitton. I am CIPP/E and CIPP/US certified and am active in the IAPP and the broader privacy community. I have significant experience in implementing compliance programs for regulations like GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, etc. I work closely with government affairs teams to assist with targeted advocacy on areas of critical importance to the business. I began my legal career practicing employment and executive compensation law, both skills which I still rely on heavily in my current position. My experience at an AM Law 100 firm in NYC was an amazing start to my career - allowing me to work with some of the most respected PE firms, hedge funds and public and private companies of all sizes on complex M&A and business transactions. I had the opportunity to provide advice and counsel to companies and high-net worth individuals, and for better or worse, to participate in complex litigation.My background was not a traditional corporate attorney that ascended to the CLO position. Whether it\'s the financial industry, retail, B2B, B2C or fast growing technology companies, I\'ve supported them all. These experiences, my strong EQ (probably my superpower) and the support of a great network, make me a particularly effective leader.

   Recruited directly by our CEO to build and lead a global legal and compliance department for a fast-growing AI technology company. Manage a team of lawyers, paralegals, compliance professionals and legal operations staff in the U.S, Spain and France. I serve as the Corporate Secretary and close advisor to the Board and partner to our private equity investor. Lead all M&A activities, including the recent acquisition of Horizon Studios, an Ontario based SaaS company. Manage compliance for the company, partnering closely with our technology department. My team is responsible for all data privacy, AI and data governance and global compliance requirements. Cross-functional partner to our technology and product teams.Close partner to Human Resources and advise on global employment law matters. Have co-led HR during interim periods. Constantly revisiting and improving company practices to reduce friction so our sales\' team can do its job more effectively. Responsible for the recent implementation of a contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool and related Salesforce integration. Manage all litigation and disputes for the company.
