About Adam Reke

I love collaborating on business strategies, product and feature definition, UX/UI, and technical constraints within the software arena because it’s challenging and mentally stimulating. I was promoted through 3 roles at IHS Digital (Markit Digital), including Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Product Owner, before moving on to Flatirons Solutions in 2018 to work as a Program Manager and Product Owner, and Product Manager for ClearGov in 2022. As a Project Manager, Product Owner, and Product Manager, I’ve gained exposure to all aspects of business and led high-performance development teams. I love to foster a collaborative approach to software and drive teams toward delivery throughout the SDLC. While serving as Product Owner for Markit Digital’s 3rd -largest contract ($6M/year), I spearheaded a rebuild of the Royal Bank of Canada’s brokerage website in an Agile environment. We launched several 6-month-long projects with them, and each one hit the mark by satisfying the needs of the bank’s business partners and end-users. Our flawless execution transformed a relationship that was at an all-time low into a lasting, fruitful partnership. At Flatirons, I took over responsibility for the company’s highest-profile project, including design/definition of a new application (reporting software) from the ground up. While seeing the process through to launch, I reeled in scope creep to deliver the product on time. Lastly, at ClearGov, I reimagined the product roadmap for several of our product lines to meet changing client needs and to attract new customers. Working directly with development teams, I lead the delivery to launch exciting new features and greenfield products that were well received by our user base. As an intuitive leader with a solid history of running product design projects, I offer balanced business and technical acumen with a creative mindset to adjust my process to meet the unique needs of each initiative. I can discuss complex concepts in understandable terms with stakeholders at all levels and am accustomed to pulling in diverse groups to inform product decisions and achieve long-term goals. My colleagues view me as the “social glue” that holds the team together, encourages storytelling to build bonds, and uses appropriate humor to alleviate tension.
