About Adam Martin
Adam has experience in designing and managing a range of projects from intimate courtyards amenity spaces, multifamily housing and commercial projects, to master planned communities and open spaces. His primary love is for holistic land planning and development solutions from land entitlement and conceptualization through the construction phases. He has the most experience in the visioning of urban infill projects. Many of Adam’s projects involve creating physical and social connections to public amenities and commuter infrastructure while integrating them with built and natural environment. Adam is an avid urbanist with a passion for big ideas and creating a buzz about historic, post-industrial, and all things urban re-development and open space projects. He has an eclectic aesthetic while making decisions about design that are socially conscious and community driven. He most enjoys seeing projects taken from concept to form to fully realize the story of a site. Recently Adam joined the Goodwyn Mills and Cawood (GMC) team in Mobile, Alabama to bolster his love for public process and engagement, and fuze his knowledge about urban redevelopment and urban design. Adam is excited to help develop new public and private partnerships for the firm and make great places available to all! Adam also believes in national and community service. The former Sergeant Martin has 8 years of Military Service. Under the US Army\'s Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA he was deployed for 4 Combat Tours in the Middle East. Adam continues his service at home as an active member of his church along with his family.
