Adam began his teaching career as a music instructor upon graduating from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. He went on to earn a B.A. degree in Film Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and later received his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State.For six years Adam served as editor and literary agent at the Reece Halsey North Agency, in Tiburon, CA, and traveled the country teaching the craft of writing, while taking pitches from authors at numerous writers conferences. He served as judge for The Rupert Hughes Award in Fiction at The Maui Writers Conference from 20••••06. In 2006 he left Reece Halsey North to open Adam Marsh Editorial Services, where he edits novels and offers publishing advice. He is a contributing author of The Portable Writers Conference (Quill Driver Books, 2007), and began teaching at Academy of Art University in 2012.
