About Adam Barber
Adam Barber is a Los Angeles based composer and project manager. His work encompasses music production, digital media management, film music post production, and I.T. project management.Projects include writing original music, music supervision and music editing for \"London Fields\", featuring Billy Bob Thornton, Amber Heard, Theo James, Jim Sturgess and Johnny Depp. “Extremity\", Directed by Anthony DiBlasi, written by David Bond and Rebecca Swan, Distribution by Epic Pictures. Other projects include: commercials for Ford and Nike, original music for podcasts, singer songwriter projects, music for pilots and more.Past collaborations:Andrea Morricone; Last Shift, House by the Lake, Schism and original music for Jewtopia, collaboration with the The Cold andLovely and films, Wall Street 2, Drag Me To Hell, Creation, When In Rome, Spiderman 3, Ghost Rider with Christopher Young; Talladega NIghts with Alex Wurman; Klaus Badelt on the Academy Award Winning™ film Gladiator, which led to a position assisting Academy Award Winning™ film composer Hans Zimmer on films such as Mission Impossible II, An Everlasting Piece, and Hannibal. Barber has worked with John Frizzell, supervised orchestral production and co-produced the soundtrack to Thirteen Ghosts (Dark Castle Production); assisted on Slap Shot II (Universal) and supervised music coordination for television programs including King of the Hill. In 2003, Barber was invited to Bucharest, Romania where he recorded his orchestral work Inception with the National Radio Orchestra of Romania. In 2004, he won the prestigious UCLA Henry Mancini Film Music Fellowship. He has worked with the Northwest Sinfonia in Seattle and supervised scoring sessions at Fox, Sony and Warner Brothers. Other producers Adam has worked with include Jeff Lorber; Engineer Brad Haehnel, and Kerry Brown.
