I am working as a Supply Systems Analyst as part of the Information Technology and Development Branch (IT & DB) for the Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground. I helped to create various software applications and Excel spreadsheets which would help with the provisioning process, including several mockups for a provisioning website named the Provisioning Projection Tracking System (PPTS) which listed and displayed statistics for approved provisioning items during the respective fiscal year. Throughout my time, I have used various provisioning software tools, such as LMP (Logistics Modernization Program), WebFLIS, eCAT, and ZMMLMI (which is utilized on LMP). I got hands-on experiences working on provisioning and verifying documented items, manly utilizing software named LMP. This provided me the opportunity to preview and screen a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) document. I verified the information on the PPL was correct, by utilizing the H6 Federal Item Names Directory, Contract and Government Entity (CAGE), and WebFLIS databases. I learned about the main process on how to validate items from a PPL in LMP, as well as how to submit Supply Support Requests (SSRs) through LMP once the respective item on the PPL is validated and the item which needs an SSR has all its information up to date and matching the most recent data. After learning how to do this process from my mentor, I adapted very quickly to the process, and even helped other members of the provisioning group with things on LMP that they had trouble with. After the SSR was submitted, I went on the E-Cat website to check if the SSR was processed for the next step in the provisioning process. If it was, noted down the action ID number associated with the SSR. Additionally, I verified 1500 lines of Engineering Drawing for Provisioning (EDFP) documents to ensure that the parts matched the drawings that were listed under their respective documentation.
