ABOUT ADAM JAFFA

Managing Partner at Gentle Dental Care since 2010. I love it and my sister Lucy who is my business partner and Practice Principal is a fab to work with. Before that I worked as PM for our Dad Bernard for nearly 25 years. We have a super Team delivering multi disciplinary dentistry. We have been involved with dental education for many years hosting and delivering a variety of courses which is always fulfilling. I am a trained therapist and worked with Cruse Bereavement Care in their programme for children and young people for 10 years which was a privilege. The therapy background helps me look after phobic patients which I really enjoy. In recent times I have become involved with Balint Group work (see Balint Society UK). This is a group method to improve patient communication and practitioner resilience in healthcare. I find it brilliant and am an accredited Balint Leader working with people from many disciplines within healthcare. I have got a lot out of this work and some great relationships have grown from this practice. Another hat is committee work with the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry which is an all Ireland body dedicated to dental education. we run a biannual Conference and various short courses. Overall I have an integrated ethos in my work and to see dental professionals and patients happy and working well together.
