ABOUT ADAM HOLCOMB

I am 47 years old and work for Five 18 Family Services as the administrator of Marriage and Relationship Services providing Relationship education for youth, singles, pre-marital, and marriage populations. I’m also a counselor and part of the management team at Five18 Counseling. I enjoy writing, mentoring, and working with couples and families. Interestingly enough I was in the Heating & Air Conditioning Business for over 11 years. I also owned my own Commercial Cleaning Company - Preferred Commercial Cleaning, in Columbus, Ohio. I have a Technical Degree in Advanced HVAC from a technical school in Cleveland, Ohio. I also have a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology, and a Masters\'s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I changed careers in 2012 to work in the Professional / Educational sector involving Counseling and Psychology. I previously took care of Social Media and Coordinating Events for AACC - American Association of Christian Counselors. I then worked for Centra Health at Virginia Baptist Hospital as a Mental Health Professional working with children and adults in the acute psychiatric departments. I previously worked at Bridges Adolescent Treatment Center specializing in working with at-risk youth. I used to work at Lynchburg General for Psychiatric Emergency Services, performing psychiatric evaluations. My wife Alexandra and I have been married for 24 years and we enjoy bike riding, camping, and spending time with our 2 boys. We also enjoy working with couples in our church.
