Develop a strategic diversity and inclusion plan with critical initiatives and goals across the company. Establish an employer brand focused on diversity and inclusion to attract candidates with diverse backgrounds as candidates for employment. Encourage and moderate open and practical conversations to lead departments and teams to a greater understanding of diversity and inclusion. Identify and develop partnerships with outside speakers, experts, and other resources. Serve as an advisor to management and team members, as well as to team member interest groups. Ensure that our commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in business processes and programs, including hiring, retention, and progression across all levels. Work with People Ops to develop guidelines that encourage diversity in promotions and leadership. Monitor the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion initiatives and best practices. Create and strengthen community partnerships that support Ginkgo’s goals, mission, and values.
