Responsible for overseeing BCI’s total portfolio ESG risk exposure and leads efforts to identify climate-related investment opportunities. Developed a total portfolio ESG Strategy and built a proprietary in-house ESG risk and opportunity evaluation framework to allocate and attribute ESG risk/opps in support of client goals. Focused on modelling the financial impacts of systemic risks including climate change on the market and across the total portfolio. Integrating systemic sustainability insight into asset liability modelling, asset class strategies, investment due diligence, value creation activities and the development of new investments strategies. Leading a team to research, develop and continuously refine industry leading methodologies and best practices in ESG risk management and investment strategies with a focus on public and private markets. Model, monitor and manage cross asset class ESG risk exposure to assess potential impacts of both action and inaction on investment portfolios. Provide strategic counsel to stakeholders including pension trustees, portfolio managers, and senior leadership.
