   Managing Director of the affordable housing finance platform of the Tax Advantaged Investment group where he has invested over $2B to acquire ~80 Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Preservation funds as well as MA tax credit investments (Low-income, Historic, Brownfields, and Film). His efforts led to the creation of a portfolio under management that currently stands at over 900 properties comprised of housing units serving Low- and Moderate-income households and representing over $1B in book value. The equity investments of his group, when combined with other investors and debt providers, represent transactions of over $23B in aggregate real estate value. Prior to State Street, he founded Hesper RE Advisors, a private consulting firm providing services for mixed-use redevelopments, multifamily properties, and institutional portfolio managers. Clients included banks, non-profits, corporations, and other financial institutions. Before that he worked on behalf of community development banks, syndicators, preservation purchasers, and mission-funding capital providers at Recap Advisors where he preserved more than 33 properties in transactions valued over $32MM. While at Boston Financial (formerly Lend Lease) he specialized in creating and implementing new strategies for dispositions having executed over 35 transactions affecting 5,200 units and $240MM in property value. As an asset manager, he led their construction/lease-up asset management team.
