Providing technology and digital risk and controls expertise as part of risk assessments, controls remediation and risk monitoring activities across the Society. Since joining the Chief Controls Office in July 2021, I have predominately been focused on enhancing and maturing our risk practices supporting strategic investment and change execution. Both for how to determine risk benefit drivers gained through investing in change as well as how to manage the execution risk exposure in line with Board Risk Appetite. I have also risk partnered updates and refreshes to the Society\'s Data and Technology Strategy, providing risk insight against progress made and changes to the strategy. My role has included risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting. A key success factor has been focusing on collaborative engagement and ways of working both with management and the risk community across the Chief Controls Office. A critical part of my role has also been to support with developing the foundations of the Chief Controls Office service offering and embedding this within the business. Including building and developing our broader 1st line risk capabilities.
