ABOUT ADAM FISHER
Organised and diligent Assistant Operations Manager with over 5 years\' experience in the maritime industry, having worked in various departments for traditional ship owners, established ship managers and currently working at Idwal a market leader for maritime inspections. Having previously worked for ship owners Graig Shipping, within their internal ship management team, it was here I started my career in the maritime industry. Predominately working in the purchasing department, procuring ship spares & coordinating services for vessels within the managed fleet, however I also provided support and assistance to the HSEQ and technical departments. With the acquisition of Graig Ship Management by V Group, I continued my career in the maritime industry working under the GSM brand, but as part of the world leading independent ship manager V Ships. As Fleet Coordinator for the GSM fleet, I was working closely alongside the technical department to compile the owners, weekly, monthly & quarterly reports. I also oversaw the vessel’s insurances, working with brokers, underwriter’s and P&I clubs for insurance renewals and claims. After 4 years of working in Ship Management I moved to Idwal, a market leading service provider for Maritime inspections. At Idwal I am currently working within the operations team as the Assistant Operations Manager.
