About Adam El-Kadi

I find experience often develops new skills and helps propel a person into an array of industries. I pride myself on these experiences both inside and outside of the workforce. Specifically, I have had the pleasure of visiting more than 35 different countries. What sets these exposures apart is that I have paid these visits for more reasons than solely \"getaways.\" With family in the Middle East and friends across Europe and Central America, I have actually been immersed in the living culture of these places. I spent a month in Italy studying Operations Management with companies such as Lamborghini. I have a knack for meeting people of all backgrounds and holding onto these connections for a more well-rounded perspective on life. This is something that I fully intend on continuing in every area of my life for as long as I live. When it comes to achievements, I have a rather widespread collection. These achievements consist of several 5th and 3rd place finishes in mathematical number sense, spelling, and advanced mathematics competitions at the state level for Texas high schools. After this, during my first two years of college, when I was on the Track and Field team at Emrby-Riddle Aeronautical University, I was named to the Academic Achievement Team by the Peach Belt Conference. This was rewarded as I retained a 3.9+ GPA under the Space Physics program, while still competing at a high level. In my final semester, I went on to be the high jump champion of our conference. Finally, I was named to the Dean\'s List for all four of my semesters at ERAU.At The University of Miami, I worked hard to graduate on time, as I had to take extra courses to account for transfer-stipulations. I also worked the role of a Mathematics Tutor once I started my schooling there. With the extra courses, study abroad, graduate school applications, and my tutoring job, I found myself learning how to balance such a busy way of life. My journey at Notre Dame has only just begun, but I am excited to see what experiences is holds for me. To already have the role of Vice President of my program is a solid start and I look forward to running with it.The best takeaway from all of my experiences in the academic world is certainly the ability to wrangle and storytell data from all sources and constructs. However, the experience that I am most proud of is my cultural experiences. I feel that I truly have had a positive impact on the lives of people that span across the entire planet.

   As a Business Intelligence Analyst, I build end-to-end data and analytics solutions that help teams monitor outcomes, assess performance, and make data-informed decisions.I work with Databricks (SQL & Python) and Tableau to develop scalable data pipelines, reports, and dashboards on millions of rows of healthcare data. I design solutions for both internal stakeholders and external clients, including embedded dashboards within Databricks notebooks and Tableau for faster iteration and deeper integration.I play a key role in our transition to Databricks as a unified analytics platform, modernizing workflows, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality through code and dashboard QA. My work supports healthcare initiatives across the U.S. and Puerto Rico in support of Healthmap’s mission to improve outcomes for people with or at risk for chronic kidney disease.
