Adam Dodson is a visionary leader in emergency medicine, EMS, and healthcare education with over 25 years of experience. A passionate advocate for patient safety and quality care, he has dedicated his life to advancing medical education and operational excellence globally.Adam\'s journey began early when he obtained his paramedic degree from Cecil College. His teaching career started in 1997 at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, setting the stage for his lifelong commitment to education. After his honorable discharge, he spent two impactful decades at Johns Hopkins—first with the hospital\'s Division of Transport Medicine, then with the University, where he spearheaded the Simulation Center, Intern Programs, and Operations.Internationally recognized for his expertise in simulation-based education, Adam has designed and built state-of-the-art simulation centers in over a dozen countries, throughout Nigeria, Tanzania, and Russia. His innovative approaches have helped governments, hospitals, and institutions worldwide enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes. As a sought-after consultant, he has guided numerous U.S. states and countries in developing their medical programs, educational strategies, and operational standards.Adam\'s influence extends far beyond his consulting work. A faculty member at the University of Maryland and UMBC since 2003, he has shaped the next generation of medical professionals.
