ABOUT ADAM COULTER

From my early childhood, I was always a fan of Lego. I had a large, heterogeneous set of blocks from which I\'d begin each creation. Numerous hours were spent building elaborate structures, from space-ships to medieval castles. Everything was planned and purpose-built. Over the years, not much has changed; the Lego blocks became snippets of code although the fundamentals remained. Today I build software for the broadcast and digital media industries. I\'ve been especially fortunate to have worked with a team of incredibly talented developers over the last several years. Our software has touched several areas including media asset management (16PB+ of video), custom TCP acceleration, GPS/compass sensor fusion (Android), computer vision, file delivery/transcode/archive workflows, file-based video analysis, newsroom production software for the 2010/2012 Olympics, live sport data parsing, dynamic ad-insertion, and streaming video (CraveTV, along with the GO products of Bell Media). I\'m quite proud of these accomplishments and look forward to what\'s in store in this ever-changing industry.My biggest passion is finding elegant solutions to complicated problems and seeing the product spring to life.
