ABOUT ADAM CARRICK
I have a career history in complex health, mental health and social care integration. My particular focus is on the systemic and relational aspects of bringing teams and organisations together. This can be particularly helpful and effective when new and uncertain ventures are to be navigated, when new teams come together or when demands are high but resources are low.I am currently in a sabbatical year but open to interesting projects and connections. Feel free to get touch. My sabbatical is being spent exploring organisational behaviour and decision-making in chronically stressed public services and in merger & acquisition settings. Both of these engage us with complexity, integration, human relationships and navigating uncertain futures. My ways of working integrate humanist and psychodynamic methods and practice. In a pilot project, I am currently studying and evaluating Professional Practice Consultation ((PPC) provided for civil and commercial mediators to support them in their role.[PPC is known as \'supervision\' in some professions and is career-long rather than orientated solely to trainee or new practitioners.] Findings of the project are due to be reported in Summer 2026.
