Leading a team of 3 direct reports and 3 variable resources, managing $1.2 billion in TTM enterprise business segment spend- Aligning the right work to the right resources, creating the right processes, to efficiently keep pace with the high volume desks of Facilities / Corp Real Estate (FM/CRE) & Marketing. This enabled substantive strategic progress of my category managers to stand up & implement category strategies that were able to penetrate FM/CRE and Marketing spaces. Successfully generating ~$60M of value creation impacting 2020 through 2023- Completed large scale Marketing spend taxonomy & procurement processes redesign to drive better spend management, visibility and planning. This enabled collaborative actions directly with the CMO & Marketing VPs to challenge internal & external norms led by Procurement. The outcomes are delivering the right strategic partners for Humana in the agency space, driving hard cost YoY savings (~$12M) in creative & media agency fees while upgrading and optimizing quality of resources working with Humana’s investments- Responsible for Humana’s tail spend analysis and catalog spend direction. Proactively managing these areas to ensure tail spend is being strategically addressed and managed- Successfully initiated and launched Humana’s Amazon Business relationship to leverage it as a tool for our sourcing organization in the right spots and regain governance of this growing enterprise spend.
