ABOUT ADAM CAIN

Adam is a Legal Director in the corporate finance team of Pinsent Masons. Adam specialises in equity capital markets matters and public M&A activity. Adam is recognised for his strong public M&A experience having worked on over 30 Takeover Code governed transactions since 2017, acting for target companies, acquisition vehicles and investment banks. Adam writes extensively about developments of strategic importance to participants in UK public M&A activity and is regularly approached for market commentary by international media outlets. In the field of equity capital markets, Adam has advised both issuers and underwriters on a number of initial public offerings, rights issues, placings, open offers and other forms of capital raising. Adam also undertakes work in the sphere of private mergers & acquisitions. Adam has particular experience in emerging markets and cross-border mergers & acquisitions activity. Prior to joining Pinsent Masons in April 2016, Adam worked for Greenberg Traurig from May 2013, specialising in equity capital markets transactions and M&A work. Adam worked for over six and a half years at Allen & Overy LLP in London (September 2006 to April 2013), including spending six months working in Allen & Overy\'s Amsterdam office (March 2008 to September 2008) working on mergers & acquisitions as well as undertaking debt capital markets work. Adam also undertook some work in Allen & Overy\'s Madrid office.
