The Phoenix Center is the substance abuse authority for Greenville County, SC and we provide treatment to over 4,500 people every year. The Phoenix Center operates programs to address the issue of addiction in our community: Serenity Place, a residential treatment program for 16 women with as many as two children up through the age of 6 years old.Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) works with the children of the women in Serenity Place to help them developmentally. A detoxification program for 16 adults.A residential treatment program for 16 adolescent boys up through the age of 17 years old.Adolescent outpatient for about 75 youth each week.Adult outpatient that sees about 450 people each week, with about half of the referrals from people with DUI convictions.Prevention efforts that works with over people each year.
