For as long as I can remember, I have always questioned the status quo in engineered systems. When I was 11, I had the opportunity to live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where I quickly noticed that many systems were not efficient and sustainable such as A/C in buildings with doors wide open, lush golf courses in the middle of the desert, and desalinated water, a pollutive process, as the primary source of drinking water. All these concerns led me to pursue answers through science and technology and I earned a B.S in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy and the Environment and a minor in Sustainability from the University of Maryland, College Park.Today, I am a technology solutions professional with 5 years of experience between IT consulting and construction management. I currently serve as a Project Manager at Accenture Federal Services, where I lead a cross-functional team of technology analysts and software engineers to deliver innovative, sustainable and highly impactful features to our ServiceNow, iOS and Oracle products for our users around the globe. I seek to empower my team by supporting individual growth, ensuring compliance with industry and security standards, and delivering high-impact solutions for long-term business value. I take pride in cultivating strong client relationships and I firmly believe that strong communication skills and emotional intelligence are essential to delivering quality results.I am passionate about sustainable business development and I am particularly interested in applying technology solutions to enhance energy efficiency, resource distribution, and infrastructure resilience in spite of rising global energy demand and climate challenges.
