I am energized by working for mission-driven technology companies. I am fundamentally a builder and my professional satisfaction comes from helping other builders navigate the legal landscape. I enjoy working in-house because it offers the opportunity to immerse myself in the details of the business, and use that context to provide pragmatic and actionable legal advice and strategy. I believe that the legal function must deliver value to earn its seat at the table.I have worked 10+ years at technology companies and have deep experience with many types of commercial and product counseling. I have successfully drafted and negotiated hundreds of traditional contracts including merger agreements, in-bound data licenses, SaaS agreements, service agreements, and many more. I also developed and rolled out contract processes, templates, and forms. I have also drafted and launched numerous policies and terms including Terms of Service, privacy policies, refund policies, cancellation policies, force majeure policies, and many others. I have also advised on numerous product flows, systems designs and product specs, help content, marketing content, communications, privacy and communications preferences, disclosures, disclaimers, user interfaces, pricing displays and tools, customer support standards and processes, as well as dispute resolution and settlements.
