Lead Power Conversion Device design and delivery for next-generation electrified vehicles- Lead Component Design Specifications, Program Timing, and Build Plans- Support Sign off on 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and related GD & T- Develop in-vehicle package locations for Power Conversion Devices by supporting as-installed mechanical design team for ideas and feasibility of attachment features and package size of power conversion components- Work with as-installed engineers and support change control as needed, report program milestone deliverables- Manage electrical Device Transmittals to support Vehicle wiring and connector selection- Lead / Participate in Design Reviews and Worst Case Circuit Analysis- Work with High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) wiring teams for accurate wire and fuse sizing- Work with vehicle teams on load sizing and proper power supply selection criteria- Manage quality foundation documents (e.g. DFMEA, RCL/RDM, DVP & R, etc.)- Phased PPAP process support through supplier visits and sign-off, including review and approving Control Plan and PFMEA- Manage supplier work for component development- Support launch of vehicle programs (e.g. breadboard and prototype build, AIMS resolution with suppliers, etc.)- Evaluate electrical system engineering alternatives for various attributes (e.g. cost, weight, package, quality, benchmarking, geometry creation and functional analysis, etc.)- Coordinate sourcing with Applications, Purchasing, Finance, and Cost Estimation Teams- Mange part design for financial freezes through Milestones and Program Approval- Work with a team comprised of Tier 1 suppliers, purchasing/STA, manufacturing, attribute teams, interfacing teams, and vehicle teams- Responsible for production warranty investigation, VO returns/failures with suppliers to drive containment, and elimination of early warranty factor- Manage analytical plans for recovery through 5D, 8D, 6-Panels.
