About Ada Chinye

I am a senior pursuing a major in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University’s Dyson School with a double concentration in strategy and marketing and a minor in Public Policy (through the College of Arts and Sciences). The culmination of my studies highlights the intersection of my various interests regarding business strategy, law, and policy. My passions stem from wanting to better understand people and how their experiences have shaped their perspectives and, in turn, their needs. This is important to me as a future businesswoman who plans to focus on bettering aspects of the triple bottom line, and as a future lawmaker who wants to fully understand my constituents\' perspectives to create policies that will positively impact them.

1. Director of Recruitment

   A Seat At The Table - Cornell

   May 2024 — Present

   In this role, I organized 7 events that brought in a plethora of applicants. I collaborated with the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to lead a 1.5-hour training session that made the deliberations process more equitable and more efficent, cutting the time it takes to deliberate down by almost 40% from the last semseter. Additionally, I moderated discussions about all candidates, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations. Moreover through out the recuritment process, I managed all communications from setting up over 50 coffee chats to coordinating interview logistics to ultimately welcoming our new member cohort.
