ABOUT ADA CARA

I am a highly motivated and versatile individual with extensive experience across a variety of teaching sectors, in the field of language learning and educational projects, mainly focused on Albania. I graduated from University College London in the UK with a master’s degree in Education and International Development under the prestigious Chevening scholarship funded by the FCDO. My research focuses on corruptive practices in higher education, quality of education, education and politics of migration and education in conflict-affected countries. I joined Epoka University in 2019, as part of the Political Science and International Relations Department, and later on in October 2021, I participated in co-designing the first National Network on Youth, Peace and Security as part of a project funded by the USAID. In November 2021, I was invited to be a reviewer for Emerald Publishing Group, Journal of Higher Education, Skills and Work-Based Learning, for reviewing manuscripts and articles as needed.Beyond my professional pursuits, I am passionate about history, classical philosophy, current affairs, playing chess, theatre, and travelling. My work, both in academia and project management, showcases a commitment to creating positive impacts in the field of education and international development.
