ABOUT AARON ZHENG

I\'m currently a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.Prior to BCG, I was the first and only junior hire at aXiomatic Gaming, a gaming/esports investment firm and the ownership group of Team Liquid. At aXiomatic, I evaluated investment opportunities in the gaming space & worked on a variety of strategic projects for Team Liquid.Outside of work, I\'m heavily involved in the competitive Pokemon Video Game scene. I started my career as a competitor, winning five Regional Championships and two National Championships. I\'ve qualified for ten different World Championships (2008, 20••••17, 2023, 2024) and was the highest ranking American player at the 2013 World Championships, where I finished 3rd. These days, I\'m focused on sharing my passion for Pokemon with the world. I run a YouTube channel where I teach people how to play the game at a high level, amassing over subscribers and 65 million combined views. I\'m also a color commentator for The Pokemon Company International\'s live streams and have casted several World Championship finals.I received an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna, and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia.
