My partner and I started AG Strategic Design after working together for several years at Drexel University. We serve a niche market - non-profit and academic institutions that lack in-house technical expertise, know they need to reach their customers through a web or software application, but do not know where to begin. That is where we fill the gap. My partner has decades of experience in complex web production, customizing content management systems and front-end expertise. I do everything else from preparing proposals, budgets, marketing reports and legal contracts to leading development teams using my business and technical knowledge. I ensure client success by managing expectations and setting clear goals. We are a lean and mean two-person team that works with outside development teams on more complex projects as needed. Over the short time we have been in business we have helped clients big and small, from one of the world’s top bio-research laboratories to an educational institution that wanted to turn its unique and empowering approach to teaching K-8 students math, writing and critical thinking into a compelling online web application. We also partnered with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission to launch Ruti - a chat bot that encourages people to ride bicycles more often by providing low-stress point-to-point bicycle directions using publicly accessible data. Ruti was the culmination of years of research I performed on bike riding habits and the bicycle industry. It was also the kind of project my partner and I dreamed of doing when we started AG and a huge personal achievement.
