ABOUT ASHLEY CONGJUICO

Ashley is a highly motivated public health professional with 10+ experience in emergency management. Her Public Health career began in the NYC area where she served as a health program coordinator of a nutrition, fitness, and stress management program for high school communities after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Notre Dame. In 2011, Ashley moved to California to pursue her passion for public health; she obtained a Master’s in Public Health from UCLA with a focus in Community Health Sciences and obtained certificates in Emergency Public Health and Leaders in Sustainability Program. She worked with the LA County Department of Public Health, City of West Hollywood Public Safety, and City of LA\'s Emergency Management Department. In 2015, Ashley joined San Bernardino County Department of Public Health as a Medical Emergency Planning Specialist with the Preparedness and Response Program (PRP) and was responsible for the Medical Points of Dispensing program and emergency operations, including the Public Health Department Operations Center (DOC). Since the activation of the DOC for COVID-19 from 2020 through 2022, she served in various leadership roles in logistics for testing and vaccine distribution as well as numerous special projects. She became Program Coordinator / Interim Program Manager (PM) from 20••••23 for the Communicable Disease Section and is now the PRP Program Manager, where she is committed to developing the next generation of public health and emergency management leaders. She has been blessed with the opportunity to lead in various aspects of emergency response including the Waterman Incident (2015), Blue Cut Fire (2016), July 4th/5th Earthquake Swarm (2019), COVID 19 Pandemic (20••••22), Mpox Response (2023), and the September WildFires (2024),
