A challenging new enterprise with multiple levels of problem solving while we renovate the old Harrah\'s Reno hotel and casino into a mixed use facility. My primary role here has been overseeing of vertical transportation for the project, which includes working with elevator subcontractors to keep our equipment running as well as facilitating and negotiating an elevator modernization contract to upgrade all equipment. This has branched out into me working on all three of our projects simultaneously which requires contact with all major elevator companies in different regions. Daily jobsite duties include planning elevator usage and dividing time between the required departments to ensure a smooth workflow on the construction site. I collaborate on a variety projects with various project managers who rely on my problem solving skills and ability to discuss potential issues either immediate or predicted. As a result of these consultations I will write task specific procedures for different phases of the project.In addition to Vertical Transportation I have been tasked with signage and branding for the new property. This requires me to work closely with the Design team and do property walks with sign companies to create a bid package. I am the project\'s OCIP coordinator which keeps me in contact with all subcontractors in regards to their insurance for the project. Smaller tasks that have been assigned to me include locksmith duties of changing locks, rekeying locks, and cutting keys. Electrical work including setting up temporary power to construction floors, moving light fixtures, pulling wire, and creating Cat 5e wires for ethernet.
