Sarah Ackerman (formerly Keller-Weir) has significant experience in information security, risk management, and IT. She applies a disciplined approach to apply industry best practices, with an in-depth knowledge of a variety of frameworks, regulations, and standards, including GDPR, CCPA, NIST, COSO, COBIT, GLBA, SOX, MAR, HIPAA, PCI, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Providing technical expertise balanced with risk-based methodologies, Sarah seeks to align business goals with technical strategic initiatives. She is well versed in internal controls and has successfully served in a variety of roles including consulting, risk management, and internal audit. Her work has resulted in a proven track record of success in identifying system control weaknesses, protecting information assets, and leading initiatives to drive successful organizational changes. Sarah has presented on various IT, security, and risk-related topics to the regional chapters of ISSA,(ISC)2, ISACA, IIA, Infragard, and the Tri-State League. She also was a keynote speaker at the Ohio Information Security Summit and the Northern Kentucky Security Symposium, and was recently nominated as one of the “40 Under 40”, which recognizes Greater Cincinnati’s leaders professionally and within the community.
