I’m a founder, operator, and professor with three decades of experience professionalizing small and mid-sized organizations—without losing the heart of a family business. That perspective started early growing up on my grandfather’s asparagus and strawberry farm which included a roadside farmer\'s market. By chance, Sparacio means \"asparagus\" in Italian. My father and his cousins operated their family owned trucking company (LoBiondo Brother\'s Motor Express) and heating oil company (Sparacio & LoBiondo Petroleum) Once I experienced family business first hand from a young age, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. In college(1991), I co-founded MaidPro, scaling from one site to hundreds of franchise operations across the U.S. and Canada, culminating in a private equity exit in 2020. Today, I lead Acio Consulting, advising owners on financial, operational, strategic, and competitive strength.
