About Achyuthan Unni Krishnan
Served as the Lead Robotics Engineer at Dopl Technologies where I develop teleroborotic ultrasound solutions to improve critical care access to underserved and underrepresented areas. Developed a remote robotic ultrasound solution with haptic and Augmented Reality feedback which was tested in a clinical user study to acquire diagnostic imaging.I have a PhD in Robotics Engineering specializing in Human-Robot Interaction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Previously worked on the design and development of heater, pump and sensor systems for Diesel Exhaust treatment systems at Robert Bosch Engineering, India.I am interested in working and solving problems in human-robot interaction, user interface design, robot autonomy and motion planning. I have worked on human-robot interaction and developing autonomous and shared-autonomous robotic systems. I have also developed mechanisms that estimate human cognitive and physical workload states based on gaze and body motion which can be used to implement workload adaptive control and visual interfaces.
