The core mission of the CMC group within the department Drug Discovery Sciences is the physico-chemical characterization, solid form finding, and preclinical formulation development and manufacturing of new chemical entities from the early research phase to start of development. By providing tailormade preclinical formulations the group assures the basis for PK and PD studies. As a key player in the interface between Research and Development, the group assess CMC developability of research compounds.
