Ashish is an experienced IT professional who has over 7 years of work experience and Masters Degree in information Management from Syracuse University. He joined Amazon’s People Insights Team in May 2019 as a Business Intelligence Engineer and moved to Data Engineer role later.He worked at Ramboll as a Technical system analyst where he was responsible for enhancement and maintenance of Oracle apps. Before joining Ramboll, he worked at Excellus, Blue Cross Blue Shield as an Information Technology Intern, where he was involved in Configuration management, Data migration, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Application development.Prior to coming to the United States, Ashish worked with Great Eastern Life Insurance, Malaysia as an Application Consultant / Business Analyst. During his tenure he collaborated with business stakeholders to deliver business- led and technology enabled solutions. He was involved in the critical project activities such as Requirement Gathering, System Gap analysis, Designing and developing new software solutions, analyzing business data to improve business process and operations, deploying major enhancements and providing Production Support. Having a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Ashish started his career as an Application Developer / Data analyst with Computer Sciences Corporation, India. He quickly excelled and grasped the key concepts of Software development life cycle. He was rewarded for his excellent problem solving skills with an opportunity to travel on site for a data migration project. He went on to work for various life insurance clients from all over the globe and delivered end to end high quality IT solutions for their financial services information systems.
