PhD in Human Computer Interaction, University of Nantes, France Research and teaching assistant at Ecole des Mines de Nantes, IRCCyN, Nantes, France Postdoctoral associate, EREL Lab, Tufts University, Boston, MA Postdoctoral associate, Department of Surgery, Cambridge Health Alliance - Harvard Medical School, Cambridge, MA Main areas of research: interaction and communication in collaborative virtual environments, motor skills learning and the design of surgical simulators. My work is focused, more particularly, on spatial and haptic communication, the development of the common frame of reference in collaborative virtual environments, and analysis of human skills The objectives of my research is to study the users within the environment with which he/she interacts and to design VR systems that better fits the needs of the users. Applications include (but are not limited to): Surgery training and education, Collaborative design, Computer Mediated Communication and Human Robot Collaboration.
