Managing Distribution, Inward and Outward movements from 6 units (WH & Plants) having volume of shipments annually.Handling North Zone 3PL Operations of 5 warehouses having more than 2 lac sq.ft. area with a team size of 100 + C&F staff.• Close co-ordination with the Demand/Supply Planning, Material Planning, Brewery CS Manager and Regional Sales teams for the understanding on volume demand, permit plans, inventory, and its impact on distribution planning. • Monitoring daily truck placement across the plants and warehouses and follow-ups with transporters for the placements as and when required. • Monitoring daily operations for bonded warehouses to ensure maximum throughput from the available resources within the defined excise timings. • Monitoring trips of company hired Dedicated Vehicles for the maximum utilization to drive lowest cost per trip.• Implementation/updations of WMS across all warehouses to maintain FMFO/FIFO and highlight the nearest expiry SKUs to the concern sales team for timely liquidation of stock to avoid expiry.• Work closely with the plant Supply Chain Managers in formulating and implementing processes that lead to transport efficiency, optimal service levels and achievement of sales targets. Ensure 100% orders are executed within the timelines to maintain OTIF, and avoid permit expiries and sale loss. • Conduct periodic e-Bidding (Auction) with central procurement team for Transportation & 3PL operations for North Zone and conclude negotiations and complete on-boarding of formalities by following company’s SOPs e.g “3 quotes, vendor screening, reference check”. • Monitoring of defined SLA & KPIs for Transporters. Driven Performance metrics e.g. Indent Vs Placement, OTIF, Transit Time Adherence, EVC Tracker etc, Performance based SOB.• Annual Budget making for Transportation & Warehouses and monthly cost review with finance and Supply Chain head, responsible to maintain lowest cost per cs.
