In the fall of 2016, I started the process of establishing the first Grand Rapids Asian Festival which was held at Rosa Parks Circle on June 10th, 2017. Estimated ten thousand people attended our inaugural event, fifteen the second year, and twenty thousand plus the third year. Old National Bank was the first to sign up as a sponsor.
