Product Manager of the Waitrose iOS and Android native mobile apps from proposition to launch, including taking the app through initial beta testing, reacting to feedback to define and develop a true MVP for launch- I have worked to establish high quality mobile apps, loved by customers, receiving 4.7 ratings and ranking as 2nd UK grocery app in the App Store, and 1st UK grocery app in the Google Play Store- I have grown the apps from launch to 1.5 million active users per month, accounting for 35% of online revenue- Appreciation of the importance, and prioritisation of technical debt, defect fixing, monitoring, analytics and reacting to customer feedback- Key member of the long-term re-platforming effort of Waitrose Digital, I collaborated and helped to guide solutions across multiple Scrum and Kanban teams. This, along with my drive to decouple, prioritise and prove in production as early as possible, also allowed delivery of a smooth implementation for the mobile apps with no post-live issues- Working with the first near-shore third party development team in Waitrose Digital, I was instrumental in establishing ways of working, to build a culture of trust and collaboration, and reviewing and adapting as the team expanded- Responsible for defining and managing a broad and complex product roadmap, I balance the need to meet wider business priorities, whilst seizing opportunities to enhance and maximise the value of the native mobile apps, using data and customer feedback to drive decisions- Communicate priorities clearly, achieving a shared understanding of business value and ensuring alignment across the development teams- Measuring the value of features, and the Product as a whole, I share progress with stakeholders, whilst looking for feedback and requirements for future enhancements and developments- Introduced A/B testing strategy to measure value and success of new features, and determine whether to release to all customers.
